NEW VIDEO: Taylor Swift - I knew you were trouble

Taylor Swift has recently released the music video for her single 'I knew you were trouble', the 3rd track released off of her album 'Red'. I have been listening to this song for a while now and I have to say I love it but the video is slightly confusing. It is definitley different from her previous videos released off of the album 'Red' such as 'Begin again' and 'We are never ever getting back together'. Amazing song though!

NEW SINGLE: Little Mix - Change your life

2011 X-Factor winners Little Mix released their new single 'Change your life' on December 13th. I'm not entirely sure what I think of this song at the moment but I have a feeling it will grow on me. This song definitley contains a lot of solos from Jessie and Leigh-Anne which is unusual since Perrie & Jade normally take the lead roles in their previous songs. The verse has a 'rappy' feel and then the chorus is very flowing but slightly repetitive. I think the underlying message may be about bullying or the struggles they have previously faced which is a very strong message. See what you think :D

ALBUM REVIEW: Taylor Swift - Red

This is my first album review and what's a better album to kick start the reviews that Taylor Swift's album Red? This album was released on Monday 22nd October 2012 and is complete with 16 brand new singles mostly written by Taylor Swift herself.

There has been a music video made for 'We are never ever getting back together' and also for 'Begin again' but a video for 'I knew you were trouble' is on it's way as sneak peaks have been released on YouTube. There is definitley a variety of tracks on this album, some soft and flowy (Such as: 'Begin Again' and 'I Almost Do' and then some more rock/pop (Such as: 'Red', 'I knew you were trouble and 'We are never ever getting back together').

All in all I rate this album a 10/10 because it has a variety of tracks to suit everybodys musical taste, a range of tempos and also meaning behind every song which I find really important in an album. I definitley recommend checking out some of her singles on YouTube or buying the album, I think it would make the perfect christmas present.

NEW SINGLE ALERT: Ellie Goulding - Figure 8

Ellie Goulding has recently released the second single off of her new album Halcyon, called Figure 8. This is definitley and upbeat song compared to her previous songs 'Anything could happen' etc... The music video for this song is a little strange but this song has become one of my favorites. I've never really been a big fan on Ellie Goulding but I really recommend this song.

NEW TRACK ALERT: Olly Murs ft. Flo Rida

2009 X-Factor runner up Olly Murs has teamed up with the rapper Flo Rida to produce the brand new single Troublemaker. This song has been out for about a month now but has only just been released with his debut on X-Factor this past weekend. This is the 2nd song of the 11 singles featured on Olly Murs' new album 'Right Place Right Time' which is out now to purchase. This song has a really great beat and has a great contrast with Flo Rida's rapping. It must be good as it has gone straight to number 1!

CHRISTMAS: John Lewis Christmas advert

So we all know when it comes to Chrismtas, John Lewis definately makes the best adverts. This years advert features a snowman who's 'snowlady' leaves and he goes to search for her and eventually finds her but the song playing in the background is just gorgeous! Gabrielle Aplin has covered Frankie goes to Hollywood's song The power of love. It's one of them songs that bring a tear to your eye and Gabrielle isn't that old but she has an amazing voice! I recommend checking out her cover of The power of love.

NEW #1: Bruno Mars - Locked out of Heaven

So Bruno Mars has recently released his brand new single Locked out of Heaven which has gone straight to number 1. It is very different compared to Grenade, Just the way you are etc... This single is very up beat and has been compared to a similar style as the band Police. I actually really like this song! I 100% recommend checking it out, it's very catchy!

2011 X-Factor winners Little Mix have released the music video to their brand new single DNA. To be honest, I wasn't really a fan of them on X-Factor but after hearing Wings and now DNA, they are really becoming a favorite of mine. This song is definatley different from Wings and shows off their vocal talents. The video is very well choreographed and all of the girls look flawless, especially Jade's hair! Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj have joined together to produce the single Beauty and a beat which has been out for a couple of weeks now. The music video has just been released on VEVO so feel free to check it out! I am quite enjoying this song at the minute and to be honest Justin Bieber is my favorite artist but I have been enjoying his past couple songs. I love Nicki Minaj's songs and way and I love when she does collaborations because too much rap gets rather annoying:P

International Music

I have never really been a massive listener of international music but I guess we all do it! People from the UK listening to USA music and vice versa but that's all very simple because it's in the same language. What about listening to music in a different language? E.G: French. Well it's quite obvious i'm not French because i'm writing in English but some of their music is fantastic and most of the singles in the charts in France are actually English so they learn English songs which is pretty cool if you ask me! One song I have been listening to lately is by a 16 year old girl called Caroline Costa. She was on a French talent show called Incroyable Talent when she was younger but now she's grown up and got her own album called J'irai (Translates to I Will). Have a listen to my favorite song off her album called 'On a beau dire' (Translates to We may say) and the video is just adorable!

ARE YOU A FAN OF: Gangnm Style?!

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past week or 2, then you will have discovered the latest musical revelation, PSY - Gangnam Style. It has had 348,050,188 views on YouTube and is currently top of the charts and i'm sure it is in many other countries. I'm not a massive fan of this song as I find it rather annoying especially when people start doing the dance '-.-  I think it's a bit like marmite, you either love it or you hate it. What do you think of this single?!

Ke$ha's back with 'Die Young'

Ke$ha released the official lyric video on September 25th to her brand new single 'Die Young'. I heard about this on Twitter and I am SO glad I did! This single has the most catchy chorus I've ever heard and I definitley think Ke$ha has chose a brilliant song to come back with. Have a listen:

DO YOU THINK: The Script deserves a place in the hall of fame?

UK band The Script have teamed up with the USA's Will.I.am to produce the single Hall of Fame. The Script's lead singer Danny o'Donoghue and Will.I.am were judges on The Voice earlier in the year so there was always a possibility there would be a collaboration on the cards. This single wasn't my favorite that The Script has ever done but once you listen to it a couple of times, it begins to grow on you. With the release of his new single; Let me love you, Ne-yo has gone straight to Number 1 this week. THOUGHTS? Nicki Minaj - Pound the Alarm

So what are your thoughts on Nicki Minaj - Pound the Alarm? I have read through some of the comments on the music video and it seems like this is a love or hate song. I personally really like the song but i'm really not a fan of the music video that all Minaj fans were waiting for (Even though Trinidad & Tobago looks GORGEOUS!). Nicki sure has some wacky outfits!
